Earlier this week, Rangers’ partners Orange County SC released their new kits for the 2021 season, including an exciting Gers-inspired alternative strip [Orangecountysoccer.com].
The Gers announced a partnership with the USL Championship club back in December 2019 and since then, several Academy players have gone out on loan to the States, while promising young goalkeeper Aaron Cervantes recently moved from OCSC to Ibrox.

Further sharing of resources has proven to be difficult due to the pandemic but the two clubs have vocally supported each other via social media, with OCSC showering Rangers with praise following their Premiership title win [Orangecountysoccer.com].
Now, the US club have taken the relationship to a new level, by actually basing their alternative strip on the Gers.
The Adidas kit is comprised of a blue shirt, white shorts and blue socks, with orange lettering and stripes.
When announcing the new kits, OCSC also confirmed that for each shirt sold, they would give two matchday tickets to Hoag health workers, in recognition of their work in the area during the pandemic.

The Rangers-inspired alternative strip is stunning and plenty of Bears were impressed by the design, leaving positive comments underneath the release.
However, a number of supporters who enquired about ordering a shirt to the UK were left disappointed by the pricing.
OCSC helpfully uploaded a brief clip to show UK residents how to complete a purchase, but with the combined cost of the shirt and shipping shown to come in at $108.50 (approximately £78), many potential buyers had second thoughts.

Former OCSC player Aaron Cervantes made his Rangers U18s debut in a clash against a rival Premiership club at Auchenhowie on Tuesday.
