The plaudits continue to roll in for Glen Kamara.
Only a few months ago, he was fighting an uphill battle with Dundee at the bottom of the SPL.
The Ibrox faithful took to him immediately, lauding him after just his second Gers appearance against Kilmarnock in February.
This drastic improvement at club level has in turn helped him establish himself at international level.
In a matter of months, he went from SPL basement battles to holding his own in a head-to-head with Italy’s Marco Veratti in Euro 2020 Qualifying.
Two strong showings for his country in March were backed up on Saturday evening, too.
He may only have nine international caps, but he looked every inch the experienced head against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Finland pulled off a significant shock in Group J by running out 2-0 winners. Norwich’s Teemu Pukki grabbed headlines with both goals, but Kamara registered an assist and cruised through the encounter.
Rangers fans were impressed, but they weren’t alone.
The Official Finland National Team Twitter account posted a message and pictures of the midfielder in action after the game.
The translation reads: “Who thinks that this lord, Glen Kamara, was utterly staggering in the raid?”

High praise indeed for the ex-Arsenal Academy player.
It’s fantastic to see a Rangers man performing so well and receiving such recognition on the international stage.
Here’s hoping he can keep his incredible momentum going into next season, as Rangers go in search of the SPL title.
