Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst has been named alongside the man he replaced in Steven Gerrard in Greatest Ever XI of Dutch striker Dirk Kuyt.
Former Liverpool forward Kuyt played alongside both current Rangers coach Gio and ex-Ibrox gaffer Stevie G during his playing days and included them both in a special XI when pressed by Four Four Two.
The football magazine had asked Dirk Kuyt to name a best ever XI of players that he played with across his career in football.
The former striker played alongside Giovanni van Bronckhorst during his time with the Netherlands national team whilst Kuyt played with Steven Gerrard at Anfield.
van Bronckhorst and Gerrard named in Dirk Kuyt XI
Rangers boss van Bronckhorst was named as part of a three-man defence by Dirk Kuyt with the striker including ex-Liverpool teammates Daniel Agger and Jamie Carragher alongside.
Pepe Reina was selected as goalkeeper.
In midfield, ex-Rangers boss Steven Gerrard joins Liverpool teammate Xabi Alonso, with Dutch maestros Phillip Cocu and Wesley Sneijder completing an unorthodox diamond.
A potent front three of Arjen Robben, Luis Suarez and Robin van Persie completes the XI as Dirk Kuyt gives his view on the best players he played with in his career.
It is telling that both Giovanni van Bronckhorst and Steven Gerrard are on the list and it gives an insight into how well thought of both are in global football.

Van Bronckhorst even managed Dirk Kuyt during a second stint with Feyenoord and the left-back-turned-midfielder played for the De Kuip club, Rangers, Arsenal and Barcelona during an illustrious career.
Steven Gerrard is a bonafide Liverpool legend and alongside a short stint in Los Angeles with LA Galaxy, remains more closely associated with the red of Anfield than the blue of Ibrox.
