It has been some week for Rangers star, Scott Arfield.
Last Wednesday, the midfielder benefitted from a tactical change from his manager, which saw him pushed forward into a more advanced position against Hearts. He scored once in the 3-0 win at Ibrox.
In the following fixture at Motherwell, Gerrard stuck to his guns. Arfield duly repaid his faith netting all three goals in the win over Motherwell.

That was a record-breaking performance from the Canadian international, which brought praise from fans and saw him named ‘Star Man’ in the SPFL’s Team of the Week.
The recognition hasn’t stopped there, though.
On Wednesday afternoon, he was named in the Fifa Team of the Week.
The 30-year-old Ger is keeping some illustrious company in there too.
£63m-rated [Transfermarkt] striker Robert Lewandowski takes a spot after scoring a brace against Borrusia Dortmund.
Furthermore, there likes of 117-cap Italy veteran Danielle De Rossi and Tottenham’s Son Heung-Min are also included.

Arfield is the only representative from the SPL.
However, he’s not the first Ger to be included this season. Ryan Jack also got the nod back after his Old Firm winning goal at Ibrox in December.
Here’s hoping for more goals and recognition for Arfield before the end of the season.
