The agent of Rangers loanee Ross McCrorie has asserted that the player has enjoyed his loan stint at Portsmouth under the guidance of Kenny Jackett, as quoted by the Daily Record.
The 22-year-old recently tested positive for Covid-19, but encouragingly, hasn’t yet experienced any symptoms and is currently back in Scotland self-isolating.

Nicholas Nicholson has praised Portsmouth CEO Mark Caitlin, for the way he’s treated his client since he received the news.
The agent says Caitlin has checked in on the player over the phone, which was a touch of class amid a stressful time for everyone involved.
He then went on to praise manager, Kenny Jackett, for how he’s treated his client this season.
“I’ve stayed close with him during the time he has been down there and it has been a big learning curve for him,” said Nicholson, as quoted by the Daily Record.
“Kenny Jackett has played a part in that as well, treating him like a man, which is what Ross has needed and will benefit his game.”

Verdict
Nothing has been straightforward for McCrorie since he arrived at Pompey, with suspension, injury and periods out of favour all restricting his game time.
It’s encouraging to hear that he’s been well supported throughout by Jackett though and now amid health concerns, the club’s CEO is stepping up his own involvement.
It’s as yet unknown whether he’ll get the chance to turn out for Portsmouth again, but for now, footballing concerns are very much secondary.
Many Bears sent the Academy graduate well-wishes after learning of his diagnosis and hopefully, there will be good news on his condition in the coming days.
