Rangers star Ross McCrorie has taken to Twitter after his positive test for Covid-19 – and Gers fans have sent their good wishes to the Scotland under-21 international.
McCrorie picked up the virus at loan club Portsmouth after four of his team-mates also contracted it and he confirmed he is now self-isolating.
Thank you for all the messages of support it’s appreciated! Self isolating at the moment and feeling fine with no symptoms whatsoever. I would just like to urge everyone to take care and stay safe!💙

He joins James Bolton, Andy Cannon, Sean Raggett and Hagi Mnoga who all been confirmed as picking it up in recent days,
“Thank you for all the messages of support it’s appreciated!” McCrorie said on Twitter.
“Self-isolating at the moment and feeling fine with no symptoms whatsoever. I would just like to urge everyone to take care and stay safe!”
All five players at Portsmouth have displayed either mild or no symptoms, and McCrorie has now returned to Scotland to recover.
The 21-year-old has struggled with injuries this season and hasn’t always been the flavour of the month with Kenny Jackett at Portsmouth when fit, but he’d been impressing of late and looked set to kick on into the final run of games this season.
Fans on Twitter were quick to show their support for McCrorie – with one telling him to put his “feet up and take it easy.”
