All five players at Portsmouth have displayed either mild or no symptoms, and McCrorie has now returned to Scotland to recover.

The 21-year-old has struggled with injuries this season and hasn’t always been the flavour of the month with Kenny Jackett at Portsmouth when fit, but he’d been impressing of late and looked set to kick on into the final run of games this season.

Fans on Twitter were quick to show their support for McCrorie – with one telling him to put his “feet up and take it easy.”
