Rangers loanee Jak Alnwick continues to impress at adopted side Blackpool in EFL League One.
The 26-year-old hasn’t made an appearance for the Gers since the season prior to Steven Gerrard’s arrival, having since been deemed surplus to requirements at Ibrox.

However, after enduring a difficult stint at Scunthorpe United last season, who were eventually relegated from the third tier, he’s established himself as the no.1 at Bloomfield Road.
His presence seems to be helping Blackpool excel in the league, with The Seasiders currently fifth in the table, having finished tenth last time around.
On Saturday, he kept what was his fifth clean sheet of the season, in a 2-0 home win over AFC Wimbledon.
With the visitors only registering two shots on target, he wasn’t overly taxed in the game, but it’s a testament to his form that his adopted side are now unbeaten in four, recording two draws and two victories.

Alnwick’s Ibrox contract is up in the summer [Transfermarkt] and therefore, he’ll be free to speak to prospective suitors in the January window.
Given that he’s done such a good job so far, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Blackpool attempt to tie him down to a permanent deal, but the ex-Newcastle stopper may want to keep his options open, to see if any higher level clubs make a move.
