Jak Alnwick has spoken to iFollow Iron, as quoted by the Scunthorpe United website, amidst upheaval and relegation fears.
The Iron effected their second managerial sacking of the season during the week, with Stuart McCall being relieved of his duties.

The decision came after a poor run of form which saw only one win in seven league matches.
Rangers loanee, Alnwick, is looking at the positives, though, as Andy Dawson takes over as caretaker.
“It’s part and parcel of football”, he told iFollow Iron, as quoted by the
“He’s been here a long time and knows the club inside out. He will give us the best opportunity to prepare for Saturday.
“It is a tough time, but the lads have reacted well and hopefully we can take it into the weekend.”

The upcoming fixture is a massive one as relegation looms large.
Scunthorpe are currently just two points above the dropzone and take on second-bottom AFC Wimbledon.
“We cannot keep saying that we need a win, we need to start acting on it”, Alnwick continued.
“It is all well and good training well and putting in performances, but at this stage, we need points on the board. It is down to us to put those things right.”

Verdict
Having extended his original loan in order to stay at Glanford Park until the end of the season, Alnwick is perhaps angling for a permanent deal away from Rangers.
Should Scunthorpe be relegated, he may look elsewhere, though. The fourth tier of English football would hardly be ideal for the former Premier League stopper.
Just like Greg Docherty at Shrewsbury Town, he’s part of a real scrap now, though, and three points at the weekend would be massive.
