Reports in the Scotsman have linked Rangers with 19-year-old Tottenham prospect Jaden Brown.
The left-back would provide much needed quality cover on that side of the pitch. Rangers have struggled there since Borna Barisic has been out. The deputising Jon Flanagan has often come in for heavy criticism.
The England U-19 cap is yet to break ino Spurs first team and it is unlikely he will before his contract expires at the end of the season. He has the likes of Ben Davies, Danny Rose and Kyle Walker-Peters in front of him.

With the youngster available on a free come next June, Rangers could snap him up for a nominal fee in January.
Club are desperate for quality cover, is Jaden Brown it?
There’s no doubt we need more options at left back. Declan John moved on in the Summer and Lee Wallace looks certain to be shipped out of the club come January.
Borna Barisic has struggled with injury since joining the club but does look a superb option. The Croatian international is on the verge of returning and it could be huge for Rangers.

At only 19, Jaden Brown still has a long way to go but needs more first team opportunities. As backup left back to Borna, Brown will get them at Ibrox. As well as the chance to develop at Ibrox under Gerrard.
Without knowing too much about him, Brown looks a decent prospect and may well prove a smart investment by the club.
