Reports linking Rangers with 18-year-old Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones continue to intensify as the club look to strengthen in the summer.
Jones was first linked to the club in mid-April, albeit by Football Insider. But now more concrete reports have emerged from Football Scotland.
The news outlet claims Rangers want to sign Jones on loan come June. The video below even claims he’s the “next Steven Gerrard”. The Sun said it back in March last year too.

Curtis Jones is an exciting prospect at Anfield and it’s a move which should interest Rangers fans. The young, attacking, direct midfielder can play a pass and has an eye for goal. He’s touted for big things on Merseyside.
It’d also be the third time Steven Gerrard has utilised his Liverpool connections to snap up an Anfield youngster.
Gerrard took Ryan Kent and Ovie Ejaria on-loan to Ibrox at the beginning of the season. Whilst Kent has flourished, Ejaria went back to Anfield before Christmas. He is now plying his trade on loan at Reading in the Championship.

Such has been the success of Kent Liverpool could be inclined to farm more young talent out to Ibrox. And if Kent himself is to be believed, Curtis Jones could be playing alongside the winger in a Rangers shirt next season.
Come next season, could Curtis Jones be the latest Anfield youth to ply his trade at Ibrox?
