Rangers and Wolves linked to QPR boss Michael Beale
According to journalist Alan Nixon, speaking on his official Patreon, former Ibrox coach Michael Beale is high on the list of potential replacements should Rangers pull the trigger on the Dutchman.
However, the journalist claims that Beale is very happy at Loftus Road despite previously being quoted as interested in managing Rangers in the future.
The 42-year-old manager was Steven Gerrard’s right-hand man during the Liverpool legend’s time at Rangers and moved with the Scouser to Aston Villa before taking his first top job at QPR in the summer.
Since then, Championship QPR have seen a dramatic upturn in form and continued their fine form this weekend with a 2-1 win over Reading with the London club now up to 4th and genuine Premier League promotion contenders.
But if Rangers are genuinely interested in Michael Beale, they will reportedly face some competition from Premier League Wolves.
According to local paper the Express & Star, Michael Beale is on a shortlist that is being considered by the Premier League outfit following the sacking of Bruno Lage earlier in October.
