Rangers linked Andreas Skov Olsen [ilRestodelCarlino] is being chased by Bundesliga outfit Hertha Berlin according to German outlet Bild as the Ibrox side face added fight for the Serie A winger.
The chase for the Bologna player is heating up as firstly he was being courted by not only Rangers, but Real Sociedad and Besiktas, and now German side Hertha Berlin has joined the race for the player.
The 21-year-old has only started four games for the Serie A team this season and has stated himself that he is unhappy at the club and looking to move on.
The player would be a welcome addition to the Rangers side, as we are crying out for a right-winger in the squad who could slot straight into the first team, Olsen fits the bill.
Although Hertha Berlin plays in a more attractive league, they currently sit 14th in the Bundesliga and the chances of Champions League football are slim compared to the European prospects at Rangers.
The new project that Giovanni van Bronckhorst is undertaking could prove to be all the difference as we look ahead to January and the summer for new signings to boost the strength of the side.

This isn’t the first time the club has been linked with the Serie A player, as links emerged whilst he was at Danish side FC Nordsjælland as he excelled at the club as a youngster.
He obviously has massive potential as his move to Serie A proves, however, increased game time will be something that the Dane will urgently seek to further improve his game.
Filip Helander was the last player to transfer from Bologna to Rangers, that worked out fairly well so let’s hope January is a productive month for van Bronckhorst and the club.
