Rangers linked Norwich City midfielder Kenny McLean has tested positive for Covid-19 [Canaries.co.uk].
The Gers were first linked to McLean, who grew up supporting Rangers, by the Scottish Sun in November.

It was suggested that either a loan or a permanent move was possible, with the Scotland international struggling for regular game time at Carrow Road.
A knee injury sustained by McLean just days later appeared to have ended any chance of a transfer.
However, he returned to fitness much sooner than had initially been anticipated and he’s recently re-established himself in the starting XI.
The 29-year-old has started the Canaries’ last seven Championship fixtures, producing two assists and impressing as they’ve opened up a lead at the top of the table.
He’s now suffered a setback, though, after testing positive for Covid-19.

The news was confirmed by Daniel Farke and McLean subsequently missed Norwich’s FA Cup 4th Round defeat to Barnsley on Saturday afternoon.
“Kenny’s isolation period has begun,” said the Canaries manager [Norwich City FC Twitter]. “He tested positive with his lateral flow test, and then he needs to do the PCR test. But it looks pretty certain.
“He developed some symptoms over the last few days and this can happen.”
McLean is under contract at Carrow Road until 2023 and his recent return to a key role at Norwich amid their bid for promotion back to the Premier League suggests it may be difficult for Rangers to sign him any time soon.
However, his emotional connection to the club ensures that he may find it hard to say no in the long-term if the Gers persist with their interest over the coming years.
McLean may be unlikely to head to Ibrox in this window, but Steven Gerrard is said to be keen on bringing in a midfielder who has reportedly already signed a pre-contract agreement.
