Gazza made a 12 minute cameo replacing Rafael van der Vaart as he turned out for Spurs for the first time in 28 years. The 51-year-old played over 100 times for Spurs across four years at the club from 1988-92.
Gascoigne – who also played for Newcastle, Lazio, Middlesbrough and Everton in his career – remains an almighty figure in West London.
There are plenty of iconic Gazza moments in the white shirt of Spurs. And today, he took to the pitch again representing the club were he really made his name on the World stage.
In his third season at the club, Gascoigne helped Tottenham win the FA Cup and ended joint top scorer with Gary Lineker.

Gazza would then move to Lazio for £5.5m before eventually coming back to the UK to join Rangers in 1995. And the rest, as they say, is history.
It was great to see the footballing legend back on the pitch and back in Tottenham. That’s twice in a week an England legend with a Rangers connection has made an emotional homecoming down south.
