Rangers fans have responded to a triumphant tweet from Ianis Hagi following the Gers’ 1-0 win over St Johnstone on Wednesday night.
It wasn’t a vintage performance from Steven Gerrard’s side but they did enough to secure a 24th league win of the season, restoring their 23-point lead at the top of the table in the process.

Hagi’s 52nd-minute strike separated the two teams and it was a goal worthy of winning any game.
The 22-year-old received the ball on the right flank and drove inside before firing a left-footed shot from outside the box into the bottom right corner, out of the reach of Saints keeper Zander Clark.
It was a fourth Premiership goal of the season for Hagi, who is also the league’s joint-top assist provider with nine, and he has bounced back brilliantly from a period out of the starting XI between October and December.
The Romania international only made his move from Genk permanent in the summer but he’s repeatedly spoken of a sense of belonging at Rangers and judging by his post-match tweet, he’s loving contributing to his side’s remarkable run of form.
“My oh my…That feeling when you score the winner at Ibrox #chills #Gers,” he wrote on Twitter.
Gers fans are loving what Hagi is producing on the pitch right now and they were quick to praise him in response to the post.
Here’s a selection of reactions from supporters:
Hagi wasn’t the only Rangers player who impressed against the Saints, with a midfielder receiving rave reviews for his display.
