Rangers have continued recent major off-field developments at the club by securing a Commercial Director.
James Bisgrove will join the club as Director of Commercial and Marketing. He brings with him a wealth of football marketing experience from the UEFA Champions League and Europa League in what is an exciting appointment for the club. Read our story on his appointment HERE.
But he is just a part of a wider focus on improving things off the field at Ibrox after a tumultuous few years behind the scenes.

The club employed Mark Allen as Technical Director last season in order to strengthen the club’s recruitment profile. A total of £400,000 was also recently pledged to the Rangers Youth Academy.
There is also plenty of work being done at the Hummel Training Centre with the building of a new youth Academy centre and stand well underway.

Rangers have recently embraced a range of initiatives aimed at supporter inclusion. The club embraced the CAFE Week of Action which celebrates the work the club does in including disabled supporters.
Rangers also recently agreed to offer free sanitary products to female supporters at Ibrox. On top of this, Rangers also facilitated an event aimed at introducing ethnic minorities to the club.

These are developments which must be taken by leading clubs in European and world football and it’s superb to see Rangers doing so. Particularly in undertaking so many pioneering moves.
It’s very much a case of taking the club into the modern footballing world, improving our standing and role in it, and securing our future as one of the globe’s elite footballing institutions. It’s an exciting time behind the scenes at Ibrox.
The club has stability, vision and direction it has not had in a long time.
