Rangers are set to host an inclusion initiative aimed at introducing ethnic minorities to the role the club plays in the Glasgow community.
The events, hosted by Rangers FC and the Rangers Charity Foundation, come under CEMVO Scotland’s inclusive sports initiative. View the event poster on CEMVO Scotland’s Facebook page HERE.
The idea behind these “Open Door Events” are to “strengthen and enhance the club’s engagement with ethnic minority communities”.

It is also about Rangers harnessing the club’s relationship with these communities in a way that benefits them and also the club. It invites people into the club to explore Rangers’ history.
This shows them how valuable and important the club is in the wider Scottish community and invites them to be a part of it. Rangers are Glasgow and Scotland’s Premier Club and have a huge responsibility to the people in the communities it serves.
But these visits also give people who wouldn’t normally get the chance an introduction to the football club. And potentially become followers or members.
What do the inclusion events involved?
Visitors will receive a tour of Ibrox Stadium, a presentation from Senior Club Management and the opportunity to ask questions and express their views.
The club are describing it as the opportunity to “develop Rangers’ inclusive approach and enhance its knowledge of, and engagement with, Glasgow’s ethnic minority communities”.

The first inclusion session will take place on Thursday 21
