Rangers have issued a rallying call to supporters as the club looks to sell tickets ahead of the club’s upcoming tie with Progres Niederkorn at Ibrox.
With match kicking off on Thursday (25/07) Rangers will be determined to sell as many seats as possible for the game.
And with the prospect of revenge on the menu at Ibrox, fans will surely flock to Govan to hopefully see Rangers exact vengeance on the Luxembourgian outfit.
The last time Progres visited Ibrox of course, Rangers won 1-0 through a Kenny Miller goal in the first game of the 17/18 season.
It was Rangers first time in Europe for close to a decade and expectations were high at Ibrox. But how sorely placed they would be.
Part-timers Progres would win the return leg in Luxembourg 2-0 to go through. It’s a result which many consider the worst in Rangers’ history.
Now, Rangers have the chance to exact revenge on the Luxembourg outfit who will be expecting a backlash at Ibrox this week.
The hope is that the tie will be out of sight before the club make the trip to Luxembourg next Thursday (01/08).
That match will coincidentally be televised by Premier Sports.
But for the first leg Rangers clearly want Ibrox rocking to make sure the club has every chance of making it through.
