Rangers have unveiled the club’s long-awaited Dream Scene painting as part of the Weekend of Legends 150th anniversary dinner.
The painting – which depicts various key moments, players and icons from Rangers history – is set to be housed in the club’s new Edmiston House museum.
Commissioned back in July as part of the club’s 150th anniversary celebrations, the painting was created by the talented Jamie Cooper and is “the first of its kind in Scotland” [Rangers].
Cooper – whose Instagram account is available to view HERE – has completed similar works for the likes of Leeds United, Chelsea and Liverpool in the Premier League.
The painting depicts a series of iconic moments in Rangers history, all the way from the club’s foundations right through to last season’s 55 success, based inside the Ibrox dressing room.
The club’s most influential managers and players are also included and the painting gives a small glimpse into the prestige and status of the Ibrox club.
You can see a picture of the Rangers Dream Scene painting on the club’s official website HERE with plenty of surprises thrown in too on closer inspection.
Rangers unveil Dream Scene painting after Weekend of Legends
The unveiling came after a Rangers XI took on a World XI in front of a 40k crowd on a memorable afternoon at Ibrox.
Thousands gathered at the stadium – many with young families – to celebrate 150 years of Rangers Football Club and watch some of the biggest names in Rangers and football history go head to head.
The World XI would win the match 3-2, with Shota Arveladze putting Rangers ahead before goals from Carlos Marchena, Nuno Gomes and Ricardo Quaresma put the World XI 3-1 up.
Paul Gascoigne would then score to make it 3-2 and send Ibrox Stadium into delirium as the club remembered some of its biggest names.
Meanwhile, several Premier League giants are said to be competing over the signature of Ibrox youngster Rory Wilson.
