Rangers flop Umar Sadiq has been opening up about his time at Ibrox and has had plenty to say about Rangers boss Steven Gerrard.
The lanky Nigerian striker had a disastrous spell in Glasgow after joining on loan from AS Roma in pre-season. His only start for the club came in the 1-0 defeat to Aberdeen in the League Cup semi-final.
Sadiq was terrible that day and doesn’t have very many good things to say about the club. But he did reserve some positive words for one person at Ibrox in particular.
“One man I do wish all the luck and success to in the future, though, is Alfredo Morelos,” Sadiq told the Sunday Post.

“He was my fellow striker, and I felt good with him during the time I was in Scotland.
“I would say that he is a very good player and an exceptional guy. He will be one of the few Rangers that I will follow with affection.”
The lanky striker might’ve slaughtered Steven Gerrard for his role in Sadiq’s failure, but Alfredo clearly left a good impression him.
Sadiq clearly won’t look back on his time in Glasgow fondly. After returning to AS Roma in January, the striker joined Serie B Perugia on loan. He’s played eight times for the Italian outfit, scoring two goals.
The big Nigerian isn’t the only one praising Alfredo Morelos either. Morelos’ Colombian teammate  James Rodriguez has been calling the player “the future of football in Colombia” [originally quoted by The Daily Record].
