Rangers flop Dalcio secures move to Greek Super League - report

Euciodalcio Gomes, commonly referred to as Dalcio, has secured a move to the Greek Super League.
That’s according to a Portuguese outlet Noticias Ao Minuto. They claim the 23-year-old has left Benfica B after four seasons, securing a permanent transfer to Panetolikos.
Dalcio was one of several questionable transfer recruits during the Pedro Caixinha regime.

The winger arrived at Ibrox on loan back in June 2017, as the former manager looked to bolster his squad for the new season.
However, he barely featured in a Rangers shirt.
His first outing came in the two-legged First Round Europa League Qualifying tie against Progres Niederkorn. We all know how that turned out.
It was several months before he was granted another opportunity by Caixinha. His next outing was more of a token gesture than a genuine opportunity to impress though, as he replaced Daniel Candeias in the 89th minute away at Hamilton in September.

That was to be his lot as a Ger.
He failed to feature again in Light Blue, later returning to Benfica B.
Last term, he was shipped out to Portuguese Primeira Liga club, Belenenses SAD. Yet, despite featuring 28 times in all competitions, he failed to register a single goal or assist.

That doesn’t seem to have put off Panetolikos, though. They finished ninth in last season’s Greek top flight and the move represents a chance for the player to kickstart his senior career.
Meanwhile, a former Rangers Young Player of the Year has sealed a switch to the MLS.
