Some Rangers fans have tipped Academy talent Nathan Young-Coombes to reach the first-team, following his weekend goal for the Colts at Ibrox.
The 16-year-old attacker joined the Gers from Chelsea in January and has had plenty of success since.
Almost immediately after his arrival, his goals played a big part in securing the Alkass Cup, with the U17s becoming the first British club to win the prestigious Doha-based competition.

That isn’t the only silverware he’s tasted, though. He also popped up with the winner against Celtic in the Scottish Youth Cup Final at Hampden Park towards the end of last season.
Therefore, it was no surprise to see him score on his first outing at Ibrox at the weekend.
After a Jamie Barjonas effort stung the hands of the Wrexham ‘keeper, Young-Coombes nipped in to capitalise and tap home.
It was yet another big contribution, with the goal effectively sealing the victory and with it, progression to the last four of the Tunnock’s Caramel Wafer Cup.
When the Rangers social media team uploaded footage from the game, including an angle of Young-Coombes’ finish, the teenager took to social media, tweeting: ‘Live for these moments.’
In response, some Bears took the opportunity to praise him and to suggest that before long, he’ll be turning out for the senior team.
Here’s a selection of reactions:
