Rangers fans are in disbelief after Hibernian forward Christian Doidge escaped punishment despite taking out Allan McGregor during the second half of Friday night’s Premiership clash at Easter Road.
The Gers dominated proceedings in the capital, going 2-0 up inside ten minutes, with Jermain Defoe adding a third shortly after the interval.

Ryan Porteous’ horror challenge and subsequent red on the hour mark then made absolutely sure that the hosts wouldn’t mount any dramatic comeback.
The centre-back’s misdemeanour wasn’t the only questionable act from a Hibs player, though.
Doidge, who had little to no effect on the game, despite coming into the fixture with seven goals in his previous seven appearances, appeared to let his frustration get the better of him in a tussle with the Gers keeper.
As McGregor shielded the ball in order to let it run out for a goal kick, the forward grabbed hold of him and hauled him down and into the advertising boards. The ball was yards away in the shot and was clearly well off the field of play when Doidge grabs onto the Gers keeper.
Yet, the forward didn’t receive a card for his actions, and barely even got a warning from the referee, despite McGregor’s protests.
The footage hasn’t gone down well with Bears on social media.
