Over the last number of weeks, there have been several big developments at Ibrox.

The smoking pilot scheme was extended for the SPL fixture against Hearts. Furthermore, the main stand was lit up to spectacular effect after the game.

Just last week, the club also announced a pioneering move, by becoming the first club in the UK to introduce OrCam technology to aid blind and visually impaired fans. That went down extremely well with Bears.

Now, though, there’s speculation that another announcement is just around the corner.

On Tuesday afternoon, the Hummel Twitter account shared pictures from Ibrox. They captioned the post ‘It’s the greatest sight that I have ever seen’ and it was retweeted by Rangers.

It’s prompted excitement from some fans who are interpreting it as a precursor to a kit release.

Of course, there’s no official word on this yet.

However, the dates would match up well. On Saturday, it will be a year to the day since Rangers announced their partnership with the Denmark-based company.

It’s an initial three-year deal which will see the release of ‘three bespoke kits each season.’ Therefore, we could be about to see more of the famous chevrons alongside new designs.

Here’s a selection of fan reactions to the post:
