Rangers fans have slaughtered outspoken Scottish Sun columnist Bill Leckie after he claimed that Jordan Jones and George Edmundson’s Covid-19 breaches were worse than those at other clubs.
Leckie claims that the Rangers duo’s decision to attend a party in Glasgow’s west end with at least another 10 people is worse than high profile incidents involving Aberdeen and Celtic players.

Eight Aberdeen players broke rules about household mixing when they visited a range of city centre pubs and got caught up in a local outbreak in the city.
Celtic star Boli Bolingoli flew outside of the country’s travel corridor to Spain before returning, failing to self-isolate and appearing as a substitute against Kilmarnock in August.
Both incidents drew the ire of the Scottish Government, with First Minister Nicola Sturgeon famously handing the nation’s game a yellow card for the breaches.
In contrast, the Gers have been praised by Holyrood powers for their quick response to the incident which saw Rangers suspend both players and force them into a quarantine.
According to Leckie, the fact that the Scottish Government has already heeded a major warning about the nation’s game proves that the Jones and Edmundson situation is worse.
“For me, it’s even worse (than the Celtic or Aberdeen incidents,” writes Leckie [Scottish Sun].
“It’s nearly three months now since Scottish football was put on wee Nicola’s infamous yellow card thanks to those nine numpties.
“Three months when the virus has taken hold again, to the point that England and Wales are in lockdown and the same fate’s headed our way.
“So for any players to still go ahead and ignore the potential consequences of the First Minister reaching into her top pocket for the red is unforgivably stupid.

“Our game was warned on August 11 that one more indiscretion could mean the final whistle being blown on this most troubled of seasons.
“And it could quite easily be interpreted by the Scottish Government that what Jones and Edmundson have done IS that indiscretion.
“Let’s just hope against hope Nicola has bigger things to contend with right now.”
Rangers fans have previous with the outspoken columnist and railed against Leckie’s comments suggesting they are a major exaggeration:

Rangers are also set to escape any SPFL charges for the incident with it failing to directly impact any football matches [Scottish Sun].
Rangers fans have also been asking why a leading Celtic star isn’t under more scrutiny for breaching Covid-19 protocols in early October.
