Rangers winger and summer signing Jake Hastie has joined English League One side Rotherham United, the club have announced.
Joining in the summer after his contract with Motherwell expired, Hastie has struggled for game time at Ibrox.
Steven Gerrard would admit last week that the player was set to go out on loan [Sky Sports] as the club felt that was the best for his development.

Hastie has now made that move and will have the opportunity for more game time with the Millers.
Moving to League One clearly benefited the likes of Greg Docherty with Shrewsbury last season, whilst Ross McCrorie is currently plying his trade on-loan at Portsmouth in the division.
It’s a move which has seen Rangers fans flooding on to Twitter in support

Hastie’s temporary move to Rotherham down south also opens the door for a rather exciting permanent transfer which appears to be getting closer.
According to reports, Rangers are closing in on a £6-7m deal for 22-year-old winger Ryan Kent [Paul Joyce].
The tricky wide man has been a target of Rangers’ all season and after yesterday’s disappointing 2-0 defeat to Celtic, the club appears ready to make a big transfer statement.
Spending around £7m on one player suggests just how highly Rangers value last season’s SPFA Young Player of the Year.
