Celtic fans unveiled a banner at their drab 0-0 draw with Livingston today saying “get well soon Stevie G”.
The banner comes in the wake of the Old Firm fallout which has followed last weekend’s result. Gerrard was reprimanded by the SFA for criticising referee Bobby Madden as the match finished 2-1 to Celtic.
A club insider claims the action comes after Rangers boss Gerrard swore at the referee.

As a result, he’ll have to watch tomorrow’s game with Motherwell from the stands. The Gers boss also drew the ire of Celtic manager Neil Lennon for comments he made about Celtic playing the “victim card”.
It’s since caused a rift in the relationship between the two bosses, with Lennon claiming Gerrard never joined him for a drink after the game.
Celtic fans are clearly trying to rub the victory in the Gers boss’ face, and Gers fans have been quick to react.

Most fans are nonplussed by the dig from Celtic fans, but the general feeling is had it been Rangers fans, the media outcry might’ve been a little harsher.
But when you look a it, who actually cares? It’s a nonsense banner unfurled by nonsense fans for nonsense reasons.
They should be more focused on their own shortcomings on the pitch. Celtic have been rescued by three late goals in recent weeks. They’ve essentially papered over the cracks as evidenced by today’s result. And it’s certainly not all bad news for Rangers.
Could the full-time appointment of Neil Lennon be of benefit to Rangers?
