Hibs manager Neil Lennon has been suspended by the Edinburgh club and unsurprisingly he’s getting no sympathy from Rangers fans.
The controversial manager has been involved in a range of high profile incidents with the Rangers support. They range from the absurd to the despicable. But in footballing terms there’s at least been plenty to talk about.
The latest being his airplane celebrations at the end of Rangers bonkers 5-5 season finale at Easter Road last year. Then there’s the Diouf/McCoist bust-up and the multitude of hand gestures and petty comments.
The Daily Record are reporting that Neil Lennon’s suspension comes after a bust up with players and the Hibs hierarchy. That comes as no surprise for Rangers who’ve fell fowl of his fiery attitude plenty of times before.

Being a Celtic legend, he’s also never exactly been flavour of the month in Govan. As a player and manager he’s been involved in plenty of tense encounters with Rangers but now it looks like we’ll be seeing considerably less of him. At least this season.
But the crazy thing is – it has been Lennon’s Hibs who’ve been one of the most consistently effective sides against Celtic AND Rangers. He led the Easter Road side to a 2-0 win over his old side in December and has taken four points off Rangers this season.
The Northern Irish manager regularly gets results against the Old Firm and in a purely footballing sense it’ll be interesting to see who Hibs replace Lennon with. But that’s only if he doesn’t take charge at Easter Road again.
