A Scottish Sun report claims Rangers are on the verge of completing a pre-contract agreement with Motherwell’s Jake Hastie.
Last month, a report in the Daily Record claimed that Norwich, West Brom and Leeds were all competing for his services, while the Scottish Sun suggested Celtic were also interested.

Yet, it now seems as though the Gers will come out on top.
Hastie is an inexperienced, but exciting wide player.
At just 19, it’s a testament to his promise that so many big clubs are reportedly interested in him.

By the same taken, it would be a big coup if Rangers could get this deal over the line.

The Scottish Sun report claims that the pre-contract deal would see Hastie join the Gers in the summer and involve a substantial development fee, as he has been part of the Motherwell youth system since 2009.
It has been a meteoric rise for the youngster over the last two months.

On loan at Alloa Athletic over the first half of the season, he didn’t make his first Motherwell start until January.
Since then, he’s bagged four goals in five matches, earned a Scotland U21 call-up and now, potentially, a long-term deal at Ibrox.
Plenty of Rangers fans are excited and reacted as news of the report circulated on Twitter.
