Earlier this month, it looked as though it was going to be an uncomfortable second half of the season for Jordan Jones.
After signing a pre-contract agreement with Rangers, his comments on social media were labelled as disrespectful by angry Kilmarnock fans.
However, his manager supported him by selecting him to face the Gers, after the winter break.

Last night, he found the net once again in Killie’s home defeat to Hearts.
Alan Power was fouled in the area just before half-time, and Jones took responsibility from the spot.
Sending the keeper the wrong way, he rolled the ball into the bottom right corner, keeping the host’s hopes alive.

Before the winter break, the Northern Ireland international scored the decisive goal in consecutive matches, against Motherwell and St Mirren.
Therefore, despite having not scored in his first 17 matches, he has now netted in four of his last five SPL outings.
It’s certainly an impressive purple patch, which suggests Rangers have got themselves a real player.

He won’t join until the summer, but snapping up this guy on a free, could just be the deal of the window.
