Rangers have confirmed the signing of 29-year-old Greg Stewart.
The attacker joins on a two-year contract having recently been released by Birmingham City.
It’s the fourth confirmed addition at Rangers this summer. Jordan Jones, Jake Hastie, and Steven Davis have already signed permanent contracts.
The news means that Stewart has joined his third SPL club in a year.
He spent the first half of last season on loan at Kilmarnock. He thrived under Steve Clarke, scoring eight goals and registering six assists in 16 SPL outings.

However, he opted not to return to Rugby Park after the winter break. Instead, he headed for a second stint at Aberdeen.
Things didn’t work out quite so well at Pittodrie, though. He scored once and failed to provide any assists in 15 league appearances.
Yet, blip hasn’t put off Steven Gerrard and Rangers. There has been speculation over this switch for months and it appears the manager believes Stewart fits the bill as a ‘quality’ addition at the top end of the pitch [Evening Times].
Stewart accidentally showed himself to be a Bear back in December, so this will be a massive day for the Stirling-born forward. Let’s hope he can deliver in a Light Blue shirt next season.
As usual, there was plenty of reaction on social media. Hordes of fans were disappointed that the announcement didn’t concern Ryan Kent, and there is still some skepticism over the wisdom of bringing Stewart to Ibrox. However, there was also plenty of support for the signing.
