When Daniel Candeias left for Turkey, there were small murmurings that it could have an impact on the mood of Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos.
After all, it happens all the time in football. It happened with Dembele and N’tcham across the city.
But a blossoming Ibrox friendship between the striker and new signing Jordan Jones has caught the eye of Gers fans on Twitter.

Morelos, 23, was close to Candeias, 31, after they both joined Rangers under Pedro Caixinha in 2017.
The young Colombian and native Spanish speaker could easily communicate with the Portuguese journeyman and the two developed a popular bond at the club.
But after Candeias joined Gençlerbirliği, Morelos would’ve had to find a new roommate. It looks like it’s Jordan Jones.
The 24-year-old Northern Ireland winger has clearly settled into the club very well and as part of that, he’s developed a friendship with the striker.
And if the duo are getting closer off the pitch, it bodes well for their form on it.
With Jones being a winger and Alfredo the club’s leading marksman, it could develop into a deadly partnership.

The duo will be hoping to that comes to fruition against Legia Warsaw in the Europa League Playoff first leg in the Polish Army Stadium.
Both players make our predicted XI for the match.
