Rangers might just have posted record figures for season ticket sales, but that’s not the only success to come from the amazing response from Gers fans.
The Ibrox club announced this week that Rangers fans had reached record numbers for 2019/20. Season ticket sales have risen from 45,419 last season to 45,757 this time around.
But with every season ticket Rangers included a scheme to invest £2 to the Rangers Charity Foundation.
That means kind-hearted Rangers fans have also raised £91,514 for the Rangers Charity Foundation.
The Foundation works to help a range of groups, people and initiatives to give back to the wider Glasgow community and beyond. This £90k will make a huge difference to their endeavours.
On the Foundation, the club says:
“The Rangers Charity Foundation exists to be a force for good on behalf of the Rangers Family, showing compassion to those in need, tackling inequalities and creating opportunities for people of all ages to change their lives for the better.
“The £2 from each season ticket will support the Foundation’s work across its education, health and wellbeing, employability and diversity and inclusion programmes, as well as its Dream Fund and various partners which include the Armed Forces.
