Rangers fans have praised Glen Kamara for his first-half performance in the Europa League fixture against Lech Poznan.

The Gers were unable to find a breakthrough in the opening 45 minutes at Ibrox, but there were some promising individual showings, despite the relatively slow nature of the play.

Kamara was rested for the 2-0 win over Livingston at the weekend but, as expected, he returned to the starting lineup for this one.

The Finland international has looked a class apart at times recently and it was no different in the first half against the Polish side.

He oozes confidence in possession at the minute and used his body to great effect on a number of occasions to evade opponents.

Kamara showed quick feet on the edge of the box to create a crossing opportunity for Ryan Kent in the early stages but also did plenty of work at the other end of the pitch, covering diligently for the Gers’ full-backs.

Plenty of Rangers supporters continue to be amazed by the quality he shows, particularly because he only cost the club £50,000 from Dundee in January 2019.

Here’s a selection of reactions to the 25-year-old’s first-half performance:

Steven Gerrard has a bench packed full of quality which he may turn to for assistance in the second half, as he seeks an important three points in Group D.
