Grinding out a well-earned three points might’ve been the main talking point from Rangers’ 1-0 win over Kilmarnock, but the Sky commentary team once again grabbed some attention.

Rangers fans are regularly subjected to the likes of ex-Celtic striker Andy Walker and Ian Crocker for their matches, a duo many fans feel is often unfairly negative concerning the Gers.

Once again, the Sky Sports commentary duo whined their way through 90 minutes with fans subjected to the two metaphorically trying to head the ball into the back of Rangers’ net from the gantry.

It’s not the first time the Ibrox legions have criticised the broadcaster for choosing a more Celtic-centric commentary team to manage Rangers’ games.

Throughout the season the Rangers support have made plenty of noises about the biases of Andy Walker in particular.

Whilst Crocker has no obvious allegiance to Celtic the issue Rangers fans generally have with the broadcaster is what is perceived as his hopeful negativity surrounding the Ibrox side.

Taking to Twitter, the Ibrox support once again bemoaned the negative coverage as Steven Gerrard’s side earned a deserved victory at Rugby Park.

Rangers defeated Kilmarnock 1-0 courtesy of a James Tavernier penalty in the first-half as the Ibrox side moved nine points clear in the Scottish Premiership.
