A group of Rangers fans are planning a protest against “the prejudiced and biased reporting by BBC Scotland.”
The protest is set to take place on Saturday 16th March prior to the Kilmarnock game at Ibrox the same day. The “End BBC Bias” demo begins at 12:45pm.
Fans group Vanguard Bears shared a poster for the event on their Twitter page. It has been liked or retweeted over 500 times.

Rangers fans are disgruntled at “BBC Scotland bias” in the wake of numerous high profile incidents with the broadcaster. These range from incidents involving the reportage on players to the revoking of a journalist’s press rights.
Managing Director Stewart Robertson also spoke out against BBC Scotland in an interview with Rangers TV.

Speaking about the wider issues with the disciplinary process in Scotland,
Robertson also touched on the aptly named “trial by Sportscene”.
Rangers PR chief Jim Traynor would then go on to release an interview with fans group and shareholders Club 1872. He describes the BBC as displaying “mock indignation” over the entire issue.

Amongst discussing high profile events involving Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Jack, Traynor also calls the BBC’s behaviour out as “absurd”.
This planned protest by fans is the latest development in what has been a longstanding dispute.
