The Swedish national team has taken the time to congratulate Rangers and their international defender Filip Helander on securing the club’s 55th league title.
Big Fil has been an important part of the Rangers side who’ve dominated Scottish football all season and remains unbeaten in the Scottish Premiership with the Ibrox side.

The ex-Malmo and Bologna centre-back has been called up to the Swedish national team as a result of his good form and the 27-year-old title winner was applauded by the nation’s Twitter account.
Not only that, but Sweden also took the time to congratulate Rangers on a “new world record” as they extended their global record of the most domestic titles to 55.
Helander is the fifth Swedish player to represent both Rangers and the Scandinavian country and fans certainly appreciated the glowing message from the Swedes.
Big Fil joins Orjan Persson, Robert Prytz, Joachim Bjorklund and Jonas Thern as Swedish internationals who’ve turned out at Ibrox.
Gers fans saluted the latest name from the country to establish himself at Ibrox but also the Swedish Football Association for recognising the club’s achievements:

Helander might be the biggest Rangers story regarding the Sweden squad but it’s certainly not the biggest talking point of the day for the nation.
The Gers defender could be lining up alongside a footballing icon during the next international break after the striker announced his return to the international stage following five years away.
