Rangers fans have lauded centre-back, Connor Goldson, after he became the fastest player to 150 Gers appearances in Wednesday evening’s 1-0 win over Livingston [Rangers FC Twitter].

The 28-year-old gained the highest WhoScored.com rating of any player with 8.12 after making 2 interceptions, five clearances, one block and a key pass, as well as winning nine aerial duels.
It’s far from the first time he’s produced a big performance for Rangers this season, with his consistency and durability two of his most impressive qualities.
Remarkably, Goldson has played every minute of every Rangers match in all competitions so far and while an extreme example, his near-constant availability is no new phenomenon.
The Englishman has only missed a handful of matches since arriving from Brighton in the summer of 2018 and while there have been a few bumps along the way, he’s largely excelled despite having a number of different centre-back partners.

It took Goldson just 965 days to bring up 150 appearances for Rangers, which is quicker than any other player in the club’s history.
Rangers fans responded with big praise for the stand-in skipper, who has been an integral part of the push for a first top-flight title in a decade.

Player of the year for me. Been immense. No disrespect to Katic worral or Edmundson but playing with an experienced partner every week has took him to a new level. Been class.
