Rangers fans are in stitches after a summer tweet from Celtic regarding their transfer window resurfaces on Twitter.

Celtic’s excessive summer spending has come under the microscope as their 10IAR title tilt has collapsed before their eyes with the Parkhead side forking out millions during the shutdown.

David Turnbull aside – who has only just come into the side – the window will go down as one of the worst in the Parkhead club’s history as a small fortune was squandered.

Nonetheless, the Parkhead club celebrated their spending at the end of the window with a tweet which is now coming back to bite them.

Their official account tweets, “just sitting there thinking… what a window!” as Celtic reflected on the summer transfer window.

Unless they’re talking about Rangers fans – who in contrast have enjoyed a successful summer of recruitment – then they’re miles off the mark.
