As Rangers have romped to a 55th league title one of the stand-out images from this legendary campaign has been the beaming smile of ex-Ibrox striker Kris Boyd.
The former Gers poacher hasn’t let up when it comes to goading our Celtic rivals and Boyd’s commentary throughout the season has been an extra touch in a special campaign.

The pundit also never let up as he covered Rangers’ clash with St Johnstone for Sky Sports and took aim at a ridiculous rumour doing the rounds in the Scottish press.
Scottish tabloid the Scottish Sun ran a story claiming that Jose Mourinho had entered the running for the Celtic job, a claim later repeated on the BBC Sport website.
Boyd, 37, couldn’t resist goading the Parkhead club regarding the links and even suggested that the only way Mourinho would appear in Scotland, is if Steven Gerrard left Rangers.
“On the Jose Mourinho stuff, if Steven Gerrard was to leave Rangers he might want to come there because that’s a bigger club,” said Boyd [Sky Sports News, 21/04/21].
“But Celtic? Absolutely no chance.
“Let’s move on.”
Naturally Rangers fans loved the outspoken pundit’s comments and took to Twitter to salute the former striker for the umpteenth time this season:

Boyd isn’t the only one who’s been ripping it out of Celtic this week amid the links to the former Tottenham Hotspur boss.
Rangers fans also had plenty to say when the Special One was linked to the Hopeless Ones earlier this week.
