Rangers fans have hijacked an official Celtic tweet which celebrates the anniversary of club captain Scott Brown doing the “broony” celebration.
Called the Dioufy by Gers fans, it’s ten years since Brown put his outstretched arms out and aimed them at El Hadji Diouf in February 2011 after scoring in a 2-2 Old Firm Scottish Cup draw at Ibrox.
But Rangers star Diouf would have the last laugh as the winger picked up two trophies that season, a League Cup winners medal and a Scottish Premier League medal.
Diouf would recreate the celebration with his arms outstretched holding the trophy with Gers fans calling this the Dioufy instead.
Celtic aren’t exactly in any fit state to be goading anyone so when they teased Gers fans with the tweet the Ibrox legions duly responded.
For the last decade Scott Brown has swaggered around Scottish football but he has once again shown up as ordinary at the first sign of a challenge.
Taking to Twitter, Rangers supporters hijacked the tweet and made sure Celtic fans know the reality of the season from which this celebration is actually from.
Here’s some of the best from the Ibrox support as they gun for their Celtic rivals:

It’s not the first time this year that Rangers support has been reacting to something Scott Brown has done.
The Gers fans were genuinely astounded when Brown saw red for an elbow against Livingston with the Celtic captain’s signature move finally being punished.
