Rangers fans shocked to see Celtic “coward” finally get his comeuppance

Rangers fans are shocked and amazed as Celtic captain Scott Brown finally got his comeuppance and saw red for flying an elbow at an opponent.

The Parkhead skipper has made a career out of sly and dangerous off the ball incidents where the notoriously plastic hardman has bullied his way through the game in Scotland.

Whether it’s teenager Harry Cochrane or Livi star Jaze Kabia, Brown has always felt like he’s been able to get off with lashing out to younger opponents.

But just as Celtic’s form begins to turn, so does Brown’s luck.

As the Celtic captain grew frustrated with Kabia’s hassling in the middle of the pitch, he slowed down, flung an elbow and caught the forward in a clear and obvious red card.

The entire thing is made even funnier by the fact Neil Lennon threw Brown on to try and salvage the game for Celtic with the match finishing 2-2 but Brown only lasting five minutes on the park.

The result cut Rangers lead to 20 points but Celtic have now lost one of their games in hand and gained only a point, meaning Rangers will be at least 14 points clear when they catch up.

For many it’s an unassailable lead but here’s how the Rangers support reacted on Twitter as Scott Brown’s elbow caught the Livingston man:

Rangers fans cannot get enough of the continuing meltdown across the city as Celtic make it no wins in four and no wins in 2021.

The Gers fans were sent into raptures by the official Livingston account after the match too, with the Lions goading their rivals over their failing 10IAR dream.
