Outgoing Rangers defender-turned-midfielder Ross McCrorie has taken to Twitter to thank the Ibrox fans for their support during his time at the club.
The Rangers fans are largely mixed after the 22-year-old earned a move to Scottish Premiership rivals Aberdeen as he goes in search of first-team football.

The deal sees McCrorie join Aberdeen on loan this season with the Dons set to complete the deal next season, with Ross signing a three-year contract [Aberdeen].
Taking to Twitter, McCrorie left an emotional but optimistic farewell as he reflected on his time at Rangers and looked forward to his future at Aberdeen.
The statement reads:
“After well over 10 years at Rangers Fc, I’ve finally decided it’s time for me to move on and further my career.
“Everyone that has been involved in my journey within the club to get me to where I am today ever since I stepped in the door at 9 years old I am forever grateful for your help to develop me as a player and also the person I am today.
“To you the fans thank you for supporting me throughout the years, it’s appreciated very much!
“All the best.”
A popular player at Ibrox and the first Academy player in a long time to come close to breaking through at Rangers at the top level, McCrorie is a well-respected figure amongst the support.
Rangers fans took to Twitter to wish the youngster every success, with some gutted he’s leaving the club in the first place:
