Rangers fans are wondering what’s happened to Colombian striker Alfredo Morelos after the 29 goal forward continued to look out of sorts against Livingston.

Despite having a goal wrongly disallowed for the second match in a row, Morelos looks a shadow of his former self as the normally prolific striker struggles since the turn of 2020.

After a ban ruled him out for the Ibrox club’s opening three games of the year Morelos has struggled for form and fitness.

It even led Steven Gerrard to admit that the striker isn’t playing at his best level [Rangers], with suspensions and off-the-field dramas affecting the forward.

Rangers need a fully-fit and firing Alfredo Morelos is they stand any chance of silverware this season and despite being unlucky in the last two matches, he needs to do more upfront.

There’s a distinct lack of confidence in his game and that has manifested itself into wild efforts on goal and a frustrating attitude on the park.

The striker looks uptight and unrelaxed with Morelos appearing to try too hard in front of goal.

A vital player for the Ibrox side, Rangers will be hoping he can recapture his form for the visit of Braga on Thursday night.

The club’s supporters are scratching their head over what has happened to their resident goalscoring force:
