Rangers fans have raved about the ‘Christmas Ready’ video after it was released on Saturday afternoon.

With the Gers not back in action until Sunday following the international break, it had been a quiet day on the club’s social media channels.

That is, until 5pm, when a video was tweeted with the simple caption ‘Follow Your Dreams #ChristmasReady’.

The 2-minute piece begins with shots of the stadium under the lights, before following Santa into the trophy room, where he is seen reading a list with three requests: score a goal at Ibrox, watch Rangers play and Ibrox filled with fans.

A young girl and boy are then seen opening their Rangers-themed presents before they are suddenly walking through the corridors at Ibrox.

Soon donning full kit, they march through the tunnel and are greetedย pitchside by club legend John Greig.

The duo then link up with a number of players from the Gers men’s and women’s teams, before the young girl scores a goal and turns to the stands to celebrate.

As indicated by the link included in the tweet, the video has been produced to promote Rangers Christmas gifts which include MyGers memberships, stadium tours and VIP packages.

Yet, there was no forced product promotion in the video itself and many Rangers fans were impressed with what the club came up with.
