Many Rangers fans were charged £17.50 to watch St. Johnstone TV for the club’s trip to Perth – and more than a few were left unimpressed.
The Perthshire club charged the sky-high streaming fee for anyone wanting to watch the match with broadcaster Sky Sports not carrying the match.

Saints had drawn the ire of Rangers fans pre-match with their excessive pricing as the club’s supporters let rip at what they felt was the club feeling them just days before Christmas.
Rangers generally charge £10 to stream the game and provide a high-level of professional coverage through RangersTV.
A whole host big names have walked through the club’s media department this season with the likes of Clive Tyldesley even employed on commentary.
Whilst some watched via RangersTV and VPNs others took the plunge but were left enraged amid a lack of commentary and poor coverage from the likes of Mark Guidi as Rangers won 3-0 in Perth.
Many of those fans took to Twitter to voice their frustrations with the Saint Johnstone TV coverage of the match:
Yes was terrible coverage! Comstant buffering

Watching St Johnstone TV, would’ve thought if they can charge £17.50 a game they could afford a commentator

Poor value, nothing before, at half time or after, with a Radio Clyde pundit commentating (he was decent). Makes RTV look world class, maybe it is in the team streams 👍

They were doing sound checks live on air earlier and couldn’t get it to work. Well worth £17.50

I wonder how much money they made?
So out of touch.— Ian Gordon (@IanGogers) December 24, 2020
Yes, poor value.

For those not on St Johnstone tv they have been shilling the 2021 Calendar for about 20 minutes of the whole game.

U get a lot of bang for yer buck on St Johnstone TV 😂😂

The coverage up in Perth is in stark contrast to what Rangers fans are used to on their own club media channel.
Only this weekend Rangers fans were heaping praise on a punditry duo as the Gers ran out 3-1 winners over Motherwell.
