As Rangers ran out 3-1 winners against Motherwell at Ibrox it wasn’t just the team’s resolve which caught the eye over the weekend.
RangersTV duo Neil McCann and Shelley Kerr were on punditry duties for the match as the ex-Ibrox winger and Scotland Women’s team manager picked the bones of the result.

Rangers showed impressive character and patience to break down a stubborn Motherwell side who were hanging on to an early 1-0 lead, striker Callum Lang putting them ahead after six minutes.
Rangers summer signings Kemar Roofe and Cedric Itten would prove the difference makers when Roofe equalised with 17 minutes to go and Itten nodded the Gers in front to make it 2-1.
Roofe would put some gloss on the victory in injury time but Rangers never panicked as the clock ran down and managed to secure a vital three points.
McCann and Kerr were on fine punditry form before, during and after the match and earned the acclaim of supporters for their insight and knowledge of the game.
Many of the Ibrox club’s supporters took to Twitter to applaud the duo for their coverage with it being a welcome change to negative coverage elsewhere:

The result puts Rangers 16 points clear in the Scottish Premiership as they look to mount a serious title challenge over the course of the season.
In winning the match against Motherwell a £6m summer investment also highlighted the difference between Rangers this year and the last.
