Rangers winger Jordan Jones has been pictured back in training for the Ibrox club after an injury forced a lengthy spell on the side-lines.
The Northern Irish winger had started his Rangers career brightly, breaking through into the side with some top showings in Europa League qualification.
But a crashing, reckless red-card challenge on Celtic’s Patrick Bauer saw Jones come off worse [Scottish Sun] and he has since spent nine weeks recovering.
After much discussion on when Jones was set to return to the fold at Rangers, it now looks like the winger is ready to begin rebuilding his match fitness.
You imagine Steven Gerrard – now blessed with a variety of options in the wide areas – will reintroduce Jones back into the first team slowly so as to avoid aggravating any injuries.

But the pacey, direct winger offers a different option on the flanks and everyone at Rangers will be looking forward to having the former Killie star back in the squad.
Not least the Rangers fans, who took to Twitter to celebrate the imminent return of a player who has the potential to be a real fan favourite at Ibrox.
