Rangers fans are calling for Ibrox Academy teenager Nathan Patterson to start against Stranraer as James Tavernier faces a spell on the sidelines.
The highly-rated Rangers youth full-back has just signed a new deal at Ibrox and is tipped for big things with the Glasgow club.
Ibrox captain, James Tavernier, has been a mainstay in the Rangers side for years but faces a couple of weeks out with an appendix issue [Rangers].

It means that the spot is up for grabs as the club prepares to enter a hectic winter schedule but for many fans, there’s only one player who should get the nod on Friday.
Matt Polster and Jon Flanagan have been patiently waiting in the wings for an opportunity behind the Rangers captain.
But it’s 18-year-old Academy prospect Nathan Patterson who the fans want to see at Ibrox for the visit of Stranraer at least.
