Rangers fans buzzing after club share footage of Dave Vos rabona

Rangers fans have responded on social media after the club shared footage of new assistant manager Dave Vos pulling off a rabona in training.

Vos only recently joined Gio van Bronckhorst’s staff, with Rangers confirming his appointment last Friday.

He had been U18s manager at Ajax but opted to leave his role with the Dutch giants to join the Gers.

Given his excellent reputation in the game, Bears were delighted with his appointment and pleased to see him with the squad for the midweek win over Hibernian at Easter Road.

Now, just over a week after Roy Makaay was heard telling a group of first-team players to “keep it simple” because “tricks are for the circus”, his fellow Dutchman has been caught showboating at Auchenhowie.

On Friday evening, the Gers shared a GIF of Vos pulling off a very slick rabona at Auchenhowie.

The clip only showed the skill itself and not where the ball ended up but Ianis Hagi may have been watching on with interest, as he attempted a rabona cross last weekend against Livingston, only for the ball to go out of play.

Here’s a selection of reactions to the clip from Twitter:

Meanwhile, a former Rangers starlet has been banned by the SFA after a toilet roll incident.
